Darcy Ermatinger grew up in Billings, MT and graduated from the University of MT with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. After 12 years teaching several different elementary grade levels in Superior, MT, Darcy decided to stay home to raise her children in Missoula, MT and has lived there with her family ever since. 

 

Watching her daughter and son grow up and realizing how fast the world changes made her concerned about the amount of plastic our culture manufactures and consumes. Darcy believes that communities can stop their dependence on single-use plastics through better education, sharing ideas, and getting creative about using alternative materials.
