Bradley has enjoyed a diverse career in academia, engineering, and private consulting. As author of Zero Waste in the Last Best Place, Dr. Layton has striven to help move Missoula, Montana towards its goal of “Zero by Fifty” primarily through no-compromise composting, next-generation manufacturing, and waste-to-energy strategies. Dr. Layton’s foray into the broader fields of sustainability began while he was on the faculty at Drexel University with his now widely-read paper on energy density, and continues with his publications in emerging ZW fields.
